Planning Guidance
In most cases, no. Under Permitted Development rules, a garden room in England can typically be installed without a planning application, as long as it does not exceed 2.5m in height within 2m of a boundary, covers less than 50% of your garden, and is not used as a primary living space. We carry out a full Permitted Development assessment of your property before any work begins — and if planning permission is required, we'll manage the application on your behalf.

Also Available
A glazed veranda is the perfect complement to a garden room — or a stunning standalone addition to your home. With a glass roof, composite posts, and optional sliding side panels, it creates a covered outdoor space you can use all year. Whether attached to your garden room or your house, a veranda extends your living space in a way that changes how you use your garden every single day.
