Do I Need Planning Permission for a Garden Annexe?
Annexes used as ancillary accommodation (i.e. occupied by family members dependent on the main house) generally fall under permitted development. However, if the annexe will be rented out independently, planning permission is required. We recommend checking with your local council — and we can advise during your free consultation.
