Whether it's a garden office with a loo so you don't keep traipsing through the house, a gym with a shower so you can cool down after training, or an annexe with a full bathroom for overnight guests — we build it properly. Not a chemical toilet in a cupboard. A real, plumbed, tiled, hot-water bathroom.
Three Options to Suit Your Needs
Garden Room with WC
A simple but essential addition — a macerator toilet and small hand basin. Minimal space needed (as little as 1m x 1.5m). Perfect for offices and gyms where you just need to go without going back to the house.
Garden Room with Shower Room
A macerator toilet, basin, and shower enclosure. Great for gyms (shower after training), studios, and garden rooms used for long hours. Needs water supply and drainage connection.
Garden Room with Full Bathroom
Toilet, basin, and full bath or shower. For annexes and garden rooms used as proper living or guest accommodation. Requires water supply, drainage, and sufficient space (minimum 2m x 2m).
How the Plumbing Works

Garden room bathrooms use a macerator toilet system rather than a traditional soil pipe. This means:
- Waste is macerated (ground up) and pumped through small-bore pipe
- Can connect to existing drainage without major groundworks in many cases
- Quieter and more compact than you might think
- Water supply comes from your house main (we run a pipe during build)
- Hot water via electric water heater or connection to your house system
We handle the entire plumbing installation — supply, waste, and connections. You just need to confirm there's suitable drainage access on your property.
What's Included
- Macerator toilet (Saniflo or equivalent — reliable, proven system)
- Hand basin with taps
- Shower enclosure (for shower room / full bathroom options)
- Wall-mounted electric water heater for hot water (or connection to house system)
- Extraction fan for ventilation
- Waterproof tile backer board
- Tiled walls and floor (tiles supplied and fitted)
- Towel rail / radiator
- All plumbing connections — supply, waste, and overflow

Do I Need Planning Permission?
Adding a bathroom to a garden room doesn't automatically trigger planning permission if the room is under permitted development limits. However, if the room is being used as self-contained accommodation (annexe), different rules may apply. We advise on this during your free consultation.
