Every garden room we design starts with careful planning, matching the structure to your garden and the way you'll use the space. But the material we build it from matters just as much as the design itself — and that's where composite pulls ahead of timber in every measurable way.
Our Composite Wall Construction
Our composite panels are built with an insulated core sandwiched between weatherproof outer layers, giving you a wall system that regulates temperature far better than solid timber cladding while never needing painting, staining, or treating.
That insulated core is guaranteed for up to 10 years against fading, warping, and rot — something no timber cladding can promise. Timber may need re-staining every 12–18 months just to keep its colour, and left untreated it will start to crack, cup, and let in moisture within a few short years.
The Finished Result
The difference shows most clearly once the room is finished and in daily use. A composite-built garden room keeps its crisp, factory finish year after year, giving you a genuinely low-maintenance space you can enjoy without a maintenance schedule hanging over it.
That's the whole reason we made the switch. Composite costs a little more upfront than timber, but it pays that back many times over in the years you don't spend repainting, treating, or replacing panels. It's a better material, for a room that's built to last.
